PolicyMaker Software Update is a true policy-based model for patching computers. Each update is in fact a policy setting within Group Policy. Simply open the Group Policy Object Editor and check off the updates that you want to deploy. The Group Policy Object holds your selections and represents your baseline required configuration. Software Update policy determines what patches are required on which computers and downloads and installs them as required. There's no need to put yourself through the process of scan-and-patch, just select and let the system deploy and report on the results.
