ABSTRACT:
The authentication world has changed and organizations have new needs, including cost reduction, support for multiple user types, and support for newly-exposed, high-risk applications over the Internet. But authentication technologies have struggled to keep pace with these organizational needs.
In this webcast, Burton Group's point person for authentication, Senior Analyst Mark Diodati, drills into these new organizational needs and evaluates the current crop of authentication technologies, including out-of-band identity proofing via telephone, SMS delivery of one-time passwords (OTPs), generation of OTPs on mobile devices, keystroke dynamics, device identification, and transactional analytics. Also, Mark will offer guidelines to help organizations pick the right authentication technologies.
